Description:

The path as the title,starts from Maggianico, a small district of Lecco that can be reached by following the state road from Lecco - Towards Bergamo,for those who exit the SS36 must take the Bione exit,the first after the tunnel of Monte Barro, keeping the left appana exit will come to a series of parking lots of the sports center where we will continue straight,until you reach a roundabout where we will have to turn right.

We are on the state road to Bergamo that we will always follow until after a pharmacy and a distributor of the ERG,we will have to turn left at the entrance to the Park of Villa Gomez, located on our right.

We will arrive at the church of Maggianico, where we will turn right following a road that runs along the parish and the sports fields, until after about 700 m we will arrive at a church,here we will turn just before the church on the left,where we will have to look for parking spaces.

In fact, our route starts just turned, after not even 10 m after the deviation we will have to climb on a road made up of small stones that goes up on the left.

Just past the convent of the Sisters of Maria Bambina, the trail signs and the real path begin.

Throughout the route we will follow the signs with the number 29.

The path immediately climbs into a forest of beech and chestnut trees,with fairly high slopes,although quite boring in some sections we leave the forest, entering beautiful meadows where some huts are placed.

Once in Camposecco, the path becomes very hard for routes of slopes, we climb in the middle of a chestnut forest,with very high slopes for about 45',sometimes the terrain does not allow us to have even with hiking boots an excellent grip in particular in wetter periods.

In a short time you gain a lot of altitude and the path comes out in a short plane where the bivouac Corti is located (921 m. a. s.l.).

Just passed the bivouac, the path returns again to climb in the middle of small rocks where in some places we have to help us with our hands to go up,but this stretch is quite short,in fact after not even 10' the path becomes completely flat,we walk a short stretch on the ridge,even if it does not create any type of problem even for people with dizziness,as we are surrounded by plants.

The path continues in this way,until near the cross,where we have to travel the last 200 m of difference in altitude,the path becomes very gravelly and reconnects with the one that goes up from Erve,we finally reach the summit where the cross is placed,and after not even 20 m we reach the Magnodeno Bivouac.
