Valmadrera - Monte Moregallo(Via Preguda)

Description:
The start of this excursion is located in Valmadrera, where near the Town Hall we can find a large free parking.
After parking and being prepared we should go towards the church of valmadrera where 10 meters above we can find some signs, we should not follow them but continue along the road that goes up to the right in Via Sant'Antonio,we will continue straight on this street that will become Via Preguda,until we find at an intersection to our left some signs for our route in Via Del Donato.
We will follow this road that begins to go up the village until we have to turn left again, following a signpost that will lead us to via Piazza Rosse.
We will continue along this road until at the end of the road we will find a private property sign,here we will turn right along a small dirt road,we will pass by some private houses,always following this path.
At a certain point the road becomes a fairly wide path that passes next to a small sanctuary carved into a ravine of the rock,and we will walk along it until we find an arrow on a rock and the name Preguda.
The path will reach a small farmhouse where we will find other signs and the distance in time to get to the Sasso di Preguda.
We will pass a small Casera, recovered by the volunteers of the SEV,and in about 10 minutes we will reach the Sasso di Preguda, where there is also a small church dedicated to Sant'Isidoro.
The path continues climbing over the Sasso di Preguda, from now on it becomes quite challenging, with the slopes that tend to increase more and more,in some places we will be forced to use our hands to help us.
The path climbs through beech,birch and grasslands, sometimes grass covers our path, however the track always remains beautiful sharp.
We will find about halfway a detour to the Forcellina di Sambrosera that we will not have to follow,the environment changes considerably the plants are increasingly sparse,and we climb into a wonderful landscape, with some points quite challenging for the slopes.
The path will reconnect with the path Paolo and Eliana towards the end of the climb,we will face a last section quite challenging before reaching a nozzle.
From here we can already see the cross,but the path tends to descend for a few meters until we reach the bocchetta di Sambrosera.
We will face a last stretch of uphill path that alternates a short forest to an old river bed, until we reach the summit.
The top is a bit atypical, in fact it is wide and has a beautiful forest to its right,however the views of the Corni di Canzo and the Sev Refuge are undoubtedly inimitable.
